Who We Are
SturdyBee Junk Removal is a junk removal company based in Port Coquitlam, BC, serving Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. We handle residential and commercial junk removal: furniture, appliances, renovation debris, estate cleanouts, hoarding situations, yard waste, and more.
We're a working crew, not a call centre. When you book with us, the same people who answer the phone are the people who show up at your property. That means we're accountable to every job in a way that a franchise model often isn't.
Where We're Based and Where We Serve
Our trucks are staged in Port Coquitlam, which means we're fast to the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody), Maple Ridge, and Pitt Meadows. We serve the full Metro Vancouver region: Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Surrey, Delta, Langley, Richmond, and White Rock. Dispatch times vary by location — same-day is most available for jobs close to our base.
What We Do
We provide full-service junk removal — meaning we do the lifting, carrying, loading, and disposal ourselves. You don't stage items at the curb or break down furniture beforehand. We handle the job from wherever each item sits.
Our services cover residential and commercial work: furniture and appliance removal, property and estate cleanouts, renovation and construction debris, hoarding cleanouts, yard waste removal, hot tub removal, and commercial services for property managers, contractors, offices, and businesses. A full list is on our Services page.
How We Price
We charge by load volume — how much space your items take up in the truck — not by the hour or by item count. Load tiers run from a minimum pickup ($119) to a full truck ($719), with four tiers in between. You get a firm quote on-site before we touch anything. There are no add-ons or surprise fees after the quote.
A small number of items carry a specialty surcharge because they require separate disposal streams: mattresses and box springs, drywall, and tires. We disclose these before work begins.

At the end of every job, we sort the load. Furniture and household items in reasonable condition are diverted to donation organizations where possible. Scrap metal is separated for recycling. Electronics go to appropriate e-waste handling. The remainder goes to a licensed transfer station.
We're not able to guarantee that every item avoids the landfill — some junk is simply past its useful life. But diverting what can be reused or recycled is a genuine part of how we operate, not a marketing line.
Related SturdyBee Services
SturdyBee also operates a cleaning service — SturdyBee Cleaning — for clients who need both junk removal and professional cleaning covered. The two businesses operate independently but share the same commitment to showing up and doing the job properly.
