Everything you need to know before we roll up.

General Questions

How much does junk removal cost in Metro Vancouver?
SturdyBee Junk Removal charges by load size, starting at $119 for a minimum load (single item or small pile) up to $719 for a full truck load. Pricing is the same across our entire Metro Vancouver and Lower Mainland service area, and includes labor, travel, and standard disposal fees. See our Pricing page for the full breakdown.
What areas does SturdyBee Junk Removal serve?
We're based in Port Coquitlam and serve all of Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Richmond, Langley, Delta, New Westminster, Port Moody, White Rock, Pitt Meadows, and Maple Ridge. See our Service Areas page for city-specific details.
How does the booking process work?
Simply call us or fill out our online form to request an appointment. We'll schedule a 2-hour arrival window. Our team will call you when they are 15-30 minutes away. Once on-site, we'll look at your junk, give you a firm quote based on our volume pricing, and if you agree, we haul it away right then and there.
Do you offer same-day service?
Yes, we often have same-day or next-day availability depending on our routing for the day in the Metro Vancouver area. Please call us directly at (236) 308-8156 for the fastest response if you need urgent removal.
What items do you absolutely NOT take?
We cannot legally transport hazardous materials. This includes wet paint, chemicals, motor oil, asbestos, highly flammable items, explosive materials, or biological waste. Everything else is generally fair game!
Do I need to move the junk to the curb?
No, our service includes all the heavy lifting. Just point to where the junk is—whether it's in the basement, backyard, or attic—and our crew will safely remove it from the premises.

Surcharges & Special Items

Certain items incur an additional fee on top of our volume pricing. This is because local transfer stations and recycling depots charge us extra to dispose of these specific materials.

Mattresses & Box Springs
An additional fee applies per mattress and per box spring. Local recycling facilities charge specific handling fees to process and recycle the internal components of mattresses. Please see FAQ for details or ask our crew for the exact surcharge amount.
Drywall
Due to strict local regulations regarding asbestos testing and disposal, drywall removal carries a specific surcharge. If you have newer drywall, please have your date stamps ready, or be prepared to provide testing paperwork for older homes.
Tires
An additional fee applies per tire. Rubber tires require dedicated recycling streams and cannot be processed as standard waste.
Bedload Items (Dirt, Concrete, Gravel)
Dense, heavy materials like dirt, concrete, bricks, and roofing shingles are priced differently than general household junk due to weight restrictions on our trucks. These are classified as "bedload" items and are subject to heavy-load surcharges.
